Turning Twenty-Hope Chest Treasures
Do you have fat quarter collections that you don’t know what to do with? Do you want to make a dent in your “stash”? Then this is the class for you! Collect 20 fat quarters, or make some from your stash with some added background to make this fun and dramatic quilt. This is not for the faint of heart-altho it is not difficult-it is time consuming, and sewing needs to be accurate! The is a three session class, additional dates are 6/20&6/27. class fee: $60.00 plus book

learn BSR techniques and skills that will give you confidence to quilt your own quilt. Topics include: thread and needle choices,choosing the appropriate sole, attaching the BSR, understanding Modes 1 & 2,using the straight and zig-zag stitch, free motion quilting skills, echo quilting and basic thread painting. Paula will also demonstrate double needle doodling and bobbin play with the BSR. Class fee-$40.00

Create a seaside wallhanging by rotary cutting free form curves of fabric and layering the shapes into a "skinny quilt". Decorative stitches, topstitching, couching, free motion quilting, and bobbin work techniques are used with many types of threads to create this work of art. This is a 3 part class, additional class dates are 7/17and 7/24 class fee: $48.00

Do you lack the confidence to embroider on a variety of items? If so-pack up your embroidery machine and head to Blaine’s for an all day embroidery boot camp! At camp you will learn to embroider on a variety of items while creating skill building projects. Blaine’s will supply most provisions for camp and you will leave with three completed items. Join us the 2nd tuesday of the month as we get together for a virtual machine embroidery club. we will present a recorded embroidery class and you will go home with a cd of the class along with a free embroidery design. after the presentation you are welcome to show and share the embroidery projects you have been working on. Class fee:$10.00, registration required to receive the class CD. August topic: pack it up, use only two fat quarters to make a great carryall to hold travel or sewing essentials.
